This week I’ve started outlining a children’s book my wife and I came up with last month.

Which means I’m back to not knowing what I’m doing, as I’ve never written a children’s book before.

So I’m looking up average word counts, learning about vocabulary levels for the age group we’re targeting, and trying to wrap my head around thinking in terms of pages instead of chapters.

But hey, at least kid’s books are short, right?

Here we go again.

  2. Little boy meets a dog with three legs, and they go searching for the pup’s “missing” leg.

    Of course, through their adventures, the boy sees just how capable the dog is, and really isn’t missing anything šŸ˜‰

    Wife and I adopted a three-legged pup a few months ago, watching him grow up has been eye-opening (and, well, inspiring šŸ™‚
